Kung Pao Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 250g OKK Veg. Fragrant Chicken
  • 7-8 Dried Red Chilies, seeded and halved
  • 4 Slices Fresh Ginger
  • 1/2 Green Capsicum, sliced
  • 1/2 Red Capsicum, sliced
  • 1 tbsp White Sesame

     Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 4 tsp Vegetarian Oyster Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese Black Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar

Instruction:

  1. Heat oil to 180°C and deep fry the Veg. Fragrant Chicken for 2 minutes until golden brown. Strain and set aside.
  2. Mix water, cornstarch, vegetarian oyster sauce, soy sauce, Chinese black vinegar, and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat a little oil and add dried chilies and ginger. Stir-fry until fragrant. Add green and red capsicums and stir-fry for about a minute. Pour in the sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Add the fried Veg chicken and cook until the sauce thickens.
    1. Sprinkle white sesame on top, and serve immediately.
